Personal opinions after the jump.
After reading that article on the FP. I find it remarkable how close this feels to the gun control debate.

That’s just because you want the limit to be 5.0

How so? Thing is, in most states if the cop thinks you’re intoxicated you can get a DUI even if below .08 so doesn’t matter what the number is anyways.
(Not saying you’re wrong btw.)

In the sense that the comments are full of angry people who don’t want to listen to each other?

That and people claim that they’re responsible adults and people who are going to break the law are criminals who don’t care what the law is.

ah, gotcha. I feel bad for those guys. Me personally? I’m pretty responsible and would never drink a gun...that’s for the lawless.

I too wouldn’t drink a gun or download a car.

.05 makes sense to me.
EDIT: apparently Ontario has a warning range between .05 and .08, which was news to me.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

I would totally download a car, but my stomach doesn’t agree with the effects of guns.

I like my solution - live next door to your bar. Done. Drunk driving solved. I host family events there too. Why? Drunk walking to the house next door isn’t a crime! Best part is they serve poutine! Fries smothered in cheese curds and gravy? WIN!

We have the same thing. Tow car to impound at owners expense, but no charges laid.

But in Florida it’s not enough to refrain from driving; you can get arrested for walking down the sidewalk while drunk. Fucking prissy-ass moralist puritans, how I loathe them.

Huh. We got some leaflet on it changing around the time I was getting my license.
Wonder if it was just a bill or something.
